Six Steps in the ChartPro Full Service ROI Process
1. Request for the protected health information is received and checked for compliance with HIPAA regulations by a ChartPro HIPAA certified Release of Information Specialist.
2. ChartPro ensures that all necessary components of the authorization are intact prior to processing the request.
3. An immediate notification is sent to the requester indicating that the request has been received and is being processed. Any problems are flagged for further attention. This process eliminates or greatly reduces status calls.
4. The request is processed and the appropriate documents are checked for compliance and immediately scanned or uploaded directly from the EMR. These document are securely sent directly to our central processing center.
5. Once received our Quality Control Department ensures compliance and accuracy.
6. Request is completed and sent to the requester via encrypted CD Rom, Electronic delivery, our secure Portal, or USPS. A log of requests (HIPAA log of disclosure) is automatically generated each time a request is processed and sent.
